Welcome to Broadland Green Party

The Green Party has two councillors on Broadland District Council representing the residents of Brundall Ward.

We also have Green Party members who are parish councillors. Vacancies arise on parish councils from time to time. Why not consider being a parish councillor and contribute to your community?

The Green Party

We are in a climate emergency

We have until 2030 to take positive action which limits climate catastrophe.
If you haven't already, please join us to face up to this very real emergency.

We are proud to do politics differently but we need determined, caring people like you to help us make it happen. Join the thousands of people who are already members.

Donations to Broadland Green Party help us work towards a sustainable, green, and just society. We do not receive money from big business or trade unions so your donations are important.

There has never been a better time to get involved with Broadland Green Party. We are active all year round - not just at election time. Let's meet and join us in our activities and local campaigns.

Reduce, Recycle, Reuse

We must promote and implement a circular economy to limit the overexploitation of natural resources and the degrading of our environment

Environmental protection

We must ensure environmental protection laws are strengthened and adhered to by our local councils and developers

Real democracy

A modern functioning democracy needs proportional representaton to truly represent the views of the people locally and nationwide

We believe in being brave, in speaking our minds and together we can do politics differently

I joined a party that was ‘the least bad of the biggest two’ where I lived, but I quickly realised that I couldn’t campaign for a party that didn’t share my commitment to environmental and social justice. The planet doesn’t have enough time for compromise or to hope to change other parties from the inside.

Dominic Tristram

I joined in 2004 to counter a government that had taken us into an illegal war, ignored huge protests against war, privatisation and neoliberalism. Since then I’ve stood for election, been a councillor, been part of local and national campaigns, and been one of those many radical dissenting voices.

Samir Jeraj

What the Green Party means to me is that, it is genuinely the party that stands for people and social justice, and I know I can add more value to the great work the party is already doing.
