Lawyers acting on behalf of Dr Andrew Boswell, a Green Party member, and former Green county and city councillor, launched a legal challenge to the A47 Blofield to North Burlingham dualling scheme. This scheme is one of several within a short distance of Norwich. These schemes, including the proposed Norwich Western Link road, will have an impact on carbon emissions and the environment at a time when we need to minimise such impacts.
Dr Boswell argues the government has failed to lawfully assess the impact of carbon emissions that would result from the scheme.
