It has been suggested by the deputy leader of Conservative-led Norfolk County Council that we should build three Small Module Reactors (SMRs) in Norfolk to solve our energy crisis. In a letter to the EDP, Broadland Green Party councillor, Jan Davis, asks if this is really the answer and who would want a nuclear power station with its attendant radioactive waste storage next door?
