Conservatives are branding leaflets to copy those of the Green Party

The Sunday Mirror reports on how the Tories have been using Green Party branding and colours in their leaflets to voters and a campaign by Reform Political Advertising urging them to stop producing “these deliberately misleading leaflets.” Co-leader Adrian Ramsay is quoted: “Clearly the Conservatives’ own brand is now so bad, and Tory MPs so deeply embarrassed about their own government, that they are trying to camouflage themselves as Greens. If the Conservatives really wanted to be Green, they would also pinch our popular policies such as tackling the climate emergency, standing up for public services and supporting the least well off in society. But unfortunately there seems little prospect of them doing that.”
