Green Spaces under threat according to government committee

Green spaces are under threat according to the Environment, Food and rural Affairs Committee.  Little has improved since the 2017 Public Parks report was published and urgent action is needed to reverse their decline.

The government needs to prioritise green spaces and encourage more investment into green infrastructure.

The MPs on the committee said there should be a central parks and a cross-government working group to “fly the flag for urban green spaces”.
