The Green Party are standing more candidates in this election than ever before, with 3,322 Greens on the ballot paper across England and Wales.
Here in Eastern Region, we're contributing to that record growth by fielding a huge number of Green candidates in almost every single district in the region.
We're running ambitious campaigns to get Greens elected onto Councils, and we're on track to win record numbers of new Green Councillors this year.
We're standing a total of 574 Green candidates across Eastern Region in May, contesting 42% of all of the available seats in this election. Compared to 2019, that's an increase of + 119 more Greens contesting an extra 9.16% of seats.
