Jim Green

I am a retired primary teacher and have lived in Thorpe for thirty years. I have been a member of Thorpe Players and Vineyard Church, now St. Francis in Heartsease. For four years in the nineties I was a Labour Parish Councillor for Thorpe.

Recently I have been a member of Green Christian for several years, part of Christian Climate Action before connecting also to Extinction Rebellion and have taken part in activities to protect Thorpe Woodlands. I joined the Green Party a few years ago after reading a Polly Toynbee article suggesting that the Green Party was the natural home of the Labour supporter.
