The Greater Norwich Local Plan has now been adopted. If is a very important key document which forms the basis for planning decisions in the district until 2038.
The plan provides opportunities for around 45,000 new homes to meet the needs for housing in both urban and rural areas between 2018 and 2038. Around 9,000 of those homes have already been built. The plan also provides for around 33,000 new jobs, as well as for green spaces and additional local infrastructure.Broadland Green Party submitted a number of comments during the consultations that were held during the making of the plan and Cllr Jan Davis attended some of the hearings.
